The society of the Philippines was deeply devastated by the Yolanda typhoon and it's tragic consequences in 2013. The film also presents the incredible transformation of some young people of the mission by showing their life from the early hardships, drug problems and abuses, to their transformation and their life nowadays.
The aim of the mission is to deepen personal and social responsibility in young people so that they can live a healthy and complete life. They put their lives to save disadvantaged children in a city, where drug consumption and violence is present at a high rate. Their sole goal has been to give hope to the hopeless. Not long after they left their life behind to establish the ACAY Mission in Manila, the capital of the Philippines.
Twenty years ago a French and a Hungarian nun received a special call from God.
